Situated in mature riverside gardens leading into the open countryside with extensive woodland views, the country cottage on the edge of Exmoor retains much of its original character and charm.

The cottage offers comfortable and spacious family self-catering accommodation for up to 4 guests (plus cot and/or ‘Z’ bed, if required).

Well behaved dogs are very welcome.    The location is favoured by guests who enjoy the many walks from the cottage front door in outstanding scenery.

Guests with young families enjoy the safety of the shallow trout stream and playing ‘pooh’ sticks from the bridge, feeding and collecting eggs from the ducks and hens.  

Older children enjoy building dams, the swing pulley and the log bridge.   Within a short drive there are a number of educational and fun outings for the young and lovely beaches are close by.

The ground floor has a sitting room with woodburner and discreetly hidden TV/DVD/video, CD/radio,  newly fitted kitchen/breakfast room with large ceramic hob, oven, microwave and fridge, bathroom with shower and a large entrance lobby with washing machine and dryer pulley.  

The first floor has a large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a large twin bedded room.   All the rooms are beautifully furnished, sunny and with lovely views.

Bratton Mill Cottage is fully equipped and home from home.   Nothing to bring other than personal possessions and provisions. 

Equally ideal for a summer or winter stay, the cottage has a barbecue and picnic bench on the bank of the trout stream, a furnished sun terrace, a cosy wood burner and full central heating.

Fresh flowers, bed linen, large fluffy towels, toiletries and a welcome tea tray with homemade cake/biscuits are all included.
